These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ecampus Africa, including our website, courses, learning journeys, and certificates (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You need an account to enroll in courses and track progress. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when you sign up, and you must be old enough to legally consent to these Terms in your country of residence.
Every course on Ecampus Africa is free to enroll in and complete. There is no charge to access course content, track your progress, or finish a course. We may change, update, or discontinue individual courses at any time, though we'll aim to give notice when that affects learners actively enrolled.
After completing a course and passing its assessment, you may optionally purchase the Ecampus Professional Certificate for a fee (currently $25 USD, approximately UGX 95,000). Certificate fees are processed via Mobile Money (MTN or Airtel) or card. Certificates are issued to the account that completed the course and cannot be transferred to another person. We reserve the right to revoke a certificate if it was issued in error or in violation of these Terms.
When using Ecampus Africa, you agree not to:
All course materials, videos, text, SCORM packages, and certificates are the property of Ecampus Africa or our content partners and are protected by copyright. Enrolling in a course gives you a personal, non-transferable license to view and use that content for your own learning — it does not give you ownership of it.
We build every course to be practical and job-relevant, but we can't guarantee specific career outcomes, employment, promotions, or income as a result of completing a course or earning a certificate. Learning outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, including fraudulent certificate purchases or abusive behavior toward other learners or staff.
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ecampus Africa is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including interrupted access, lost progress, or reliance on course content.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
